The local engineering division of the Porsche brand opens a second office in Romania, in Timişoara. The new office expands and complements the digital skills of the Cluj office opened in 2016 where 250 engineers already work.
“Porsche Engineering’s activities in Romania are a success story. The consistent growth with the help of specialists from Cluj has motivated us to expand the office with a second location in Timisoara,” said Dirk Lappe, Chief Technology Officer at Porsche Engineering.
The company wants to recruit 50 engineers in 2021 for the Timişoara office and in the medium term their number will rise to 200.
