The Mayor of Porto presented yesterday a draft plan for the urbanization of the Eirinhas neighborhood in Porto, which calls for an investment of several million euro. Construction work on the project is planned for later this year. The project calls for the construction of single family homes which is expected to result in the arrival of 100 new families to the area and 300 new inhabitants. “Between the street, the pavilion and the construction of housing we are talking about a public investment of €5.8m,” says Porto’s mayor Rui Moreira.
