Portugal’s Environment Minister, João Pedro Matos Fernandes, says ministry officials has called for the preparation of investment projects this year, so they can move forward in 2017. Fernandes said yesterday in Parliament said that the investment projects of Porto and Lisbon Metro were potential candidates to receive Juncker plan financing. He said that the progress of the works in the metropolitan in both cities could be accomplished through the Juncker plan. However, he claimed that at the moment, it is impossible to quantify the value of the investment.
