Tomar City Hall will hold a tender for the operation and management of a catering establishment and bookstore, with a terrace by the river Nabão. The local authority has developed a feasibility study indicating a profit of around €8,000 per month and the point of the tender is to identify an investor to take on the project. The Mayor of Tomar, Anabela Freitas says that the necessary construction work cost about €119,000, which the winner of the tender will have to provide. The concession would be offered for a period of over 20 years, with no rent to be paid for the first three years. The minimum bid for the rent is €200 per month.
