The Competition Council is examining the takeover of Land Power SRL by PPC Renewables, a company of the Greek PPC group, which is also buying Enel’s Romanian business.
PPC Renewables Single Member S.A., Greece, is active in the generation, distribution and supply of electricity to final consumers, mainly in Greece. PPC’s portfolio includes conventional, hydroelectric and renewable energy sources. Spark is a special vehicle company created for this transaction.
Land Power SRL owns and operates a wind farm with an installed capacity of approximately 84 MW, located in the communes of Topolog and Dorobanțu, Tulcea county. The company is owned by Lukoil International Upstream Holding, part of the Russian oil group Lukoil.
