PPF Group to buy City Tower

16 April 2014

PPF Group, owned by the Czech billionaire Petr Kellner, is planning to buy City Tower in Pankrác-Prague 4 from Consideratio, a part of Proxy-Finance holding. The prices of the deal has not been disclosed. Kellner wants to buy the landmark office building, the tallest in Prague, through an SPV called City Tower Holding. The antimonopoly office still needs to approve the deal. A decision should be made within the next 20 days. City Tower has changed hands a few times since its completion in 2007. In 2009, the developer ECM sold it to a company called Marpona for €130m.
