Pracom won the tender to renovate the historic 17th-century Šlechtova restaurant in Prague’s Stromovka park with a bid of CZK 101m. Prague councillors confirmed the result despite appeals by two other bidders. Prague hopes Pracom will be able to break ground in early June. The city estimated the order would be CZK 169m. Ten construction companies took part in the tender. Prague Councillor Jan Wolf said he believed that the decision will not be appealed again within the next 15 days, and work can get underway. Completion is foreseen in 16 months. The city will then launch another tender to chose the operator of the restaurant.
