Prague 8’s assembly has completed a feasibility study for the renewal of the Praha – Karlin train station, which was located near the Zizkov pedestrian tunnel opening along Pernerova street. The study will become part of the city’s Metropolitan plan, though there’s concern that the CZK 900m it’s believed the investment would cost will prove unrealistically high. It’s part of a wider attempt by the city to find new ways to improve mobility for people working and living in the capital that doesn’t involve cars and parking. Prague 8 is also considering the renewal of the U Kříže station in Liben. Its CZK 100m price tag could make it a more viable option.
