Václav Havel Airport Prague will be given a thorough facelift. The Terminal I arrivals hall will be redesigned by Chapman Taylor architects. Václav Řehoř, the director of the state-owned company Český Aeroholding, which owns the airport, says that the airport is not unique and has no genius loci. The facelift of the Terminal I departures hall should follow, before work begins on Terminal 2. The duty free zone will also be changed into a so-called walk-through zone, which will become a single shopping zone.
