Prague’s assembly will be discussing the city’s budget for 2015 today, but many of the numbers are already known. Roughly CZK 56.3bn will be spent over the coming 12 months, of which CZK 11.2bn will go towards a variety of investments. The Blanka tunnel, for example, along with preparations work for the D-line of the metro will eat up CZK 1.5bn, while CZK 900m will be set aside for the city’s transport company for repairs to the tram network and for entrances to five metro stations. At least CZK 1bn will be sunk into road repairs, including reconstruction work on the Nusle bridge.
