We will use city flats mainly for single people, seniors or teachers. The project will offer up to 140 rental apartments, the ground floor will be complemented by a living parterre with shops and services. Part of the transformation of this area will be the modification of the surroundings of Botič and its banks so that a pleasant recreational zone is created there for Praguers,” says Petr Hlaváček, First Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague. of the City of Prague for Territorial Development.

The construction of city apartments is the first phase of the site solution. This will be followed by the revitalization of the stadium itself, on the concept of which the city has commissioned an economic analysis. The last stage will be dedicated to sports, which envisages the construction of a new sports hall, which will be connected to the sports grammar school. “Even though I am more of a passive athlete, Prague’s Bohemka is simply a sweetheart. He definitely deserves a dignified background. We start with apartments, but we will definitely not forget about footballers,” adds Petr Hlaváček.

The jury will evaluate the competition proposals for apartment buildings from the following points of view: urban
and architectural solutions, positive impact on the environment, compliance with the nature of the site, functional transport solutions, energy and operational efficiency. Prizes and reimbursements in the competition are set at CZK 3 million.

“For this important plot in the wider center of Prague, we have chosen the path of the architectural competition in order to obtain a functional and aesthetically interesting solution for the city apartment building and for the public space with an overlap to the Botič riverbed and further to the stadium. If the management of the city of Prague also entrusts PDS with the preparation of the development of neighboring plots owned by the city, ie the area of the football stadium and sports hall in Přípotoční street, PDS is ready to take over these events for project preparation. Coordinated project preparation is essential for the success of the entire project in this locality,” concludes Petr Urbánek, director of PDS.

The project is a separate investment project approved by its Investment Expert Committee and the City Council. of Prague. Complete documentation of a narrower architectural competition for the design of a multifunctional building in Prague 10 is available on the PDS profile in the Tender arena.
