Prague court cancels D1 planning change
Prague City Court dropped a change to the master plan that would have, among other things, allowed for the development of office and residences along the D1 motorway on the outskirts of Prague. The change was opposed by the Újezd and Křeslice municipalities, which appears to have argued successfully that the highway plans would result in inordinate increases in traffic, not only in the surrounding villages but also in Petrovice, Šeberov and Prague South City. Lawyer Vítězslav Dohnal told České noviny the master plan change was illegal and done without an EIA assessment.
