Prague’s PX Index closes November with 0.59% increase

While the Prague Stock Exchange was in a steady decline throughout November, the PX Index increased by 0.59 percent to 1059.27 points on Thursday. ČEZ, VIG and Erste helped the market regain its footing on the last day of a rough month. ČEZ Group’s stock hit a two-year high closing at CZK 490.70, an increase of 0.76 percent. The biggest gain was recorded by the Vienna Insurance Group which saw its stock rise by 1.57 percent. The Austria’s Erste group closed at CZK 934, an increase of 0.95 percent. By comparison, Moneta and Komerční banka posted decreases. Komerční banka stock fell 0.12 percent, closing at less than CZK 900. Moneta, meanwhile, posted a 0.39-percent decrease.
