The city of Prague has taken over operations of the exhibition area in Prague 7-Holešovice from its former operator Incheba. The worn-down area will need about CZK 1.5bn worth of modernization work. This year, the city plans to invest CZK 50m into necessary repairs. The city has established a company called Rozvojové projekty Praha (RPP) to oversee the exhibition area. City Councilor Jan Wolf has suggested the area be connected with the neighboring Stromovka park. Prague also plans to rebuild part of the Industrial Palace that burnt down within two years. RPP has succeeded to sign deals worth CZK 40m for 2015.
