Prague agreed to invest an additional CZK 45m into the preparatory work for Radlická radiala, a vital transport artery that should connect Smíchov and Radlice in Prague 5. The new 5.5 km artery, half of which will be tunnels, will also connect the inner and outer Prague loop. Construction will include 12 bridges, three pedestrian bridges as well as adjustments to the railway track that connects Prague-Smíchov with Hostivice. The additional CZK 45m in funding will finance a borehole that is part of the project’s geology research.
