The volume of pre-leases in Bucharest’s office increased 17 percent in the first quarter of 2014 compared to the same period in 2013, according to Esop Consulting. It reports that over the first three months of the year, 62,652 sqm worth of deals were signed, up from 53,893 sqm in 2013. Mirela Raicu, manager of corporate offices at Esop, said the data confirms the city’s office market is on an upward trend.
