The Producer Price Index for the Bulgarian industrial sector increased by 0.5 percent m-o-m in September, according to the National Statistics Institute. Prices went up in the mining and quarrying industry by 2.1 percent and in manufacturing by 0.6 percent. Prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply fell by 0.2 percent.
In the manufacturing sector, prices rose for beverage production by 0.8 percent and wood manufacturing of wood by 0.5 percent. Prices decreased for the manufacturing of rubber and plastic products by 0.3 percent.
