Prime Kapital will start the construction of the Silk District project in Iasi next year. The company is taking steps during this period to obtain the building permit, and the planning act could be issued by the end of this year. Silk District will include apartment blocks, class A office buildings, hotel, kindergarten, medical clinic, retail and service spaces and green and leisure spaces, including playgrounds for children.
According to Martin Slabbert, the company’s founder and CEO, the projected 100,000 square meters of office space in the project could be reduced to 50,000 square meters due to the impact of the pandemic, which has reduced demand in the office market. The deadline for the Silk District project in Iasi is 2025.
