Prague’s most expensive construction plot, at the corner of Národní and Mikulandská street is for sale again. The developer Ditrich bought what’s currently a parking lot for around CZK 180m from the city of Prague back in 2005, eventually paying the same amount for the Schönkirchovský palace next door. The idea was to build a high end hotel on the land that would be operated by Accor under the Sofitel brand. The Czech News Agency says the plot, bought with a loan from PPF Bank, will be offered in an auction on March 29 in which the initial price has been set at CZK 227.5m (€9.2m).
