Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased by 4.1 percent m-o-m in April and by 3.6 percent y-o-y, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Procurement prices of cereal grain increased in April when compared to the previous month. Prices for potatoes, animals for slaughter and cows’ milk, however, were lower. Prices for most agricultural products fell in April when compared to the same month last year, with the exception of wheat and pigs for slaughter, which increased, according to GUS.
