Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in June by 2 percent m-o-m. However, compared to the corresponding period of last year, prices decreased by 3.7 percent, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In June, 81.26 PLN/dt were paid for wheat, down 0.4 percent m-o-m but up 6.5 percent y-o-y. The price of rye amounted to 61.37 PLN/dt, up 1.2 percent m-o-m but down 13.3 percent y-o-y. The price of potatoes in June averaged 81.11 PLN/dt, down 2.7 percent m-o-m and by 16.6 percent y-o-y, according to GUS.
