The industrial property developer Prologis has closed on the purchase of a industrial property in Opa-locka for $16 million. The 117,052 square foot warehouse at 12805 Le Jeune Road changed hands for just under $137 per square foot. The seller, American Fruit & Produce Corp, bought the asset for $9.5 million in 2003. Built in the 1970’s, the two story facility sits on a 14.5 acre site and is occupied buy the seller. The acquisition marks the second purchase for Prologis this year in Opa-locka, having spent $25.75 million for a warehouse in March.
