Embraer Executive Jets Services has signed a 22,100 square-foot lease with Prologis for an industrial distribution building located within the Prologis Port 95 Commerce Park in Hollywood, FL. Embraer signed a five year lease for its relocation and expansion to the new larger space at building 500. The facility features cross-dock loading, a 24-foot clear span height, T-5 lighting and ESFR sprinklers. Embraer is headquartered in Brazil and in Melbourne, Florida and is active in commercial and executive aviation, defense and security. CBRE’s Harry Tangalakis represented the tenant, while CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin represented the owner, Prologis, in the transaction.
“Embraer needed to expand their operation and while considering consolidation in other parts of the country, opted to remain and expand in Fort Lauderdale,” said Tangalakis, CBRE Senior Vice President. “This transaction is clear evidence of the underlying strength of the South Florida industrial market and its ever increasing value to aviation related firms.”
