Prologis Hungary broke ground on three new projects, totaling 43,000 sqm, in 2016, with one completed before the end of the year. All three schemes are currently fully leased. Leasing activity for 2016 totaled 245,000 sqm, while the developer’s year-end occupancy level was at 98.1 percent, outperforming the CEE average of 96.4 percent. “Demand for industrial space increased further in 2016, resulting in new development starts and record-high occupancy,” said Laszlo Kemenes, senior vice president and country manager at Prologis Hungary. “Our performance reflects our dedication to customer service, as well as our exceptional portfolio of existing buildings and land bank ready for development. We look forward to supporting our customers in the year ahead.”
