Prologis is preparing to build two more distribution centers near Ostředek
The development company Prologis is preparing to build two more distribution centers in its logistics park near the D1 motorway near Ostředek in the Benešovsko region. They will cover an area of 21,250 and 12,600 square meters, respectively. Customers will start using them in the second half of next year, the ČTK company informed today. She did not state the value of the investment.
The company recently completed and fully leased the first building and is now working on two more. In the future, it also counts on the construction of the fourth and fifth centers. So far, a zoning decision has been issued for these constructions and the company is striving to obtain a building permit.
The UDI Group also has a logistics complex near Ostředek. Ostředek Mayor Marek Škvor (nez.) Has previously told ČTK that the construction of a logistics park will help the development of the village. He pointed out that the village is building a water supply and sidewalks and needs money for a treatment plant. The annual budget without subsidies is around five million crowns, the municipality has already earned extra money by selling the land. According to Škvor, the creation of new job opportunities for local people should also be positive.
