Due to the recent growth of interest in online shopping driven by the coronavirus pandemic, a leading logistics operator in Poland expanded its warehouse footprint by leasing 15,000 sqm of temporary space at Prologis Park Piotrków Trybunalski I. The name of the company was not disclosed. Savills advised the tenant during the lease process. Prologis Park Piotrków I is located near Łódź in Central Poland and offers a total area of 79,500 sqm. “The lease was executed for a shorter than standard term usually required by modern warehouse landlords. This was enabled by the flexible approach of Prologis. We are pleased to have been able to meet the requirements of our client with this type of lease,” said Maciej Gierak, business development manager at Savills.
