27 July 2016

United Parcel Service has picked up a 43-acre development site west of the Miami International Airport from Prologis in a $31 million deal. The property, located at 13200 Northwest 17th Street, has been pre-approved to become a distribution warehouse. The site plans call for a 5.3 million sqf warehouse with up to 495,000 sqf of retail space and 175,000 sqf of office space. The seller, AMB Codina Beacon Lakes, an affiliate of Prologis, bought the tract as part of a bigger deal in 2003 for $7.3 million.
