Prologis signed a 146,500 sqm lease with Tesco Stores Slovakia at Prologis Park Galanta-Gáň. The transaction with the long-term tenant includes a new lease on a recently completed 55,000 sqm BTS facility and a lease renewal on 91,500 sqm. Tesco will use the space as its hub for distributing dry groceries as well as hardline and softline products to stores across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. The park’s location near the R1 highway, east of Bratislava, offers easy access to those countries. Prologis Park Galanta-Gáň includes four building, totaling 240,000 sqm.
