Property Markets Group, based in New York City, has filed plans with the City of Orlando to develop a three-tower multifamily complex. Located on a 3.57-acre plot across the street from the Orange County Courthouse, the firm intends to build 867 apartment units along with 1,374 parking spaces. The project will be called either X Orlando or Golden Sparrow, and will be developed in three stages. The city is seeing a huge uptick in rental units built in the downtown corridor with more than 1,200 units recently added.
