Pulte Homes acquired 507 acres off Vanderbilt Beach Road in North Naples where it plans to build 548 homes in a deal whose terms were not disclosed. The transaction includes land from two sellers: Golf Club of Everglades and Olde Florida Golf Club. The 281-acre Golf Club of Everglades site east of Collier Boulevard off Vanderbilt Beach Road includes land for homes, an 18-hole golf course, and a clubhouse.
The second transaction is for 226 acres of land for a new residential community that will be called Greyhawk. Construction will begin this month on the scheme, with sales to start late this year. Pulte has been developing plans for the site for nearly two years and is working with the original golf course architect Rees Jones to redesign four of the existing golf holes.
