Quantum Equities secured a $68.77m loan to buy Glendale Apartments in Lanham, Maryland. Originated by Greystone, the Fannie Mae financing carries a 12-year fixed rate and six years of interest-only payments. The 486-unit property is located just a few blocks from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, a research and development facility that houses the Hubble Space Telescope program and employs more than 10,000 people. “The market fundamentals for the Lanham market are on an upswing, enabling Quantum to leverage growing rental demand and increased rents in the area,” said Eric Rosenstock, vice president of Greystone.
