Radegast plans CZK 580m automated bottling line in Nošovice

23 July 2018

Work on the installation of a new bottling line at the Radegast brewery in Nošovice near Frýdek-Místek will require an investment of CZK 580m. The brewery’s owner, Plzenský Prazdroj, predicts that work on the new line will be completed by 2020. Its capacity will be 60,000 cans per hour and is a reaction to growing demand for canned brews. The new line will be use primarily for filling cans of Radegast and the brand’s non-alcoholic line, Birell and will replace capacity in Slovakia. As it will be fully automated, the new investment will not require a recruitment drive, while increasing Radegast’s capacity by 60 percent.
