Radisson plans to open a Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort in Montenegro, its first in the Balkan country, in the fourth quarter of this year. The hotel will be located in the Kolasin ski resort in northern Montenegro and will have 188 rooms, according to the company.
The hotel will offer a range of facilities, including a lobby bar, an all-day restaurant and a speciality restaurant, all complemented by outdoor terraces. The wellness area will include indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a fitness area with a dedicated yoga area. In addition, the meeting and event space covers more than 385 sqm and includes a ballroom, a meeting room and a pre-function area.
“The Kolasin mountain resort zone aligns well with our regional growth strategy, and its inclusion further strengthens our footprint in the Balkans, where we currently have 19 hotels with 3,500 rooms in operation and under development,” said Radisson vice-president of business development for Eastern Europe, David Jenkins.
