Raiffeisen Bank plans to close 15 of its branches in Hungary in September. Following the closures, Raiffeisen will have 67 branches in Hungary and less than 2,000, according to the bank’s chief, Heinz Wiedner.
Raiffeisen posted a profit of HUF 1.8bn in the first six months of the year, up from the HUF 26.2bn loss it suffered during the first half of 2014. Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) focuses on the corporate and retail banking sector, offering financing, leasing, and investment services.
