Ralf Klann is joining the management team of Bilfinger Real Estate Asset Management from October 1 and will be heading its asset management business in Germany. Ralf Klann will report to Michael Hintze, COO of Bilfinger Real Estate Germany. Klann has 25 years’ of experience in the real estate and financial sectors, having been in charge of European risk management as a member of the Executive Board of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). Prior to this, he worked in financing and investment at JP Morgan and for Morgan Stanley, and the Deutsche Bank Group. His career began as the lead architect in commercial projects in German, the UK, Ireland and Italy. He holds a Real Estate Master’s degree from the Cass Business School/City University in London as well as construction engineering and architecture qualifications. He has taught Master’s degree courses at the EBZ Business School as an outside lecturer since 2009.
