Polish listed developer Rank Progress is gearing up for a new retail investment, having just acquired a suitable 8 ha plot in the city of Olsztyn. The developer paid PLN 16.5m for the land on Jarocka Street, on which it expects to build a 30,000 sqm shopping center. The investment would be one of the biggest in the region, with a DIY store, retail park and a multiplex cinema. Rank Progress says it could launch construction this year, in which case completion would be managed by the fourth quarter of 2013.
