The RC Europe development company based in Vyškov, South Moravia, operates in Croatia, Serbia and Romania in addition to the Czech Republic. In each of these countries, it boasts successful projects such as the construction, renovation and operation of business parks, office buildings, retail centers, food chains and residential complexes.
The last successful acquisition was completed in December 2021, and the RC Europe Group thus added the building of the former Centroprojekt on Štefánikova Street in Zlín to its portfolio. The construction of the original building was carried out in 1968, by the Zlín Industrial Buildings for the expanding company Centroprojekt. The authors of the project were acad. arch. Zdeněk Plesník, Ing. arch. Karel Krčmář, Ing. Ivan Přikryl and Ing. arch. Oldřich Šlesinger. Today, the building is one of the most important and architecturally valuable buildings in the city.
On seven floors there were and still are mainly large offices, but also administrative units, dining room, cinema, library, photo department, promotional department, chemical laboratory, central cloakroom, archive, maintenance workshops or garages.
The building, which will be newly designated RC Central Zlín, offers with a total area of approximately 11,000 sqm the lease of office and storage space, a meeting room, a cinema or parking spaces. RC Europe is currently working on a major refurbishment plan, which should respect the character of the building and its history.
