RC Europe, a Czech development company with 17 years of experience in the market, has recently sold a project with a valid building permit for the ten-storey Arc office building in Bucharest.
This building was designed to make room for about 300 cars on two parking floors. There will also be space for warehouses, technical rooms, changing rooms with showers and charging stations for electric cars.
“The sale of the ARC project will allow us to focus fully on our other promising development projects. We are confident that PPF Real Estate will complete the project soon, and Bucharest will gain top offices in an exclusive location,” said CFO RC EUROPE Martin Grünwald.
Legal representation in the transaction was provided by a team from the Prague office of the international law firm Baker McKenzie, led by Mark Disman and supervised by Libor Basel. The buyer is the PPF Group, which operates in 25 countries around the world. It invests in a number of industries, from financial services to telecommunications, media, biotechnology, real estate to engineering. PPF operates in Europe, Asia and North America.
The investor plans to begin construction of 30,000 square meters of modern office space for the ARC project in the second half of this year, scheduled for completion in 2024.
RC Europe also has other successful projects in Romania. For example, the Office premises under the Central brand, which are located in Pitești, Drobeta and Slatina, but also the Class A office buildings in Pitești and Craiova. In addition, RC Europe has built Nest stores in Miercurea Ciuc, Oradea and Dorohoi.
