Re/Max ends cooperation with Gepard on mortgages

6 February 2019

The Re/Max real estate chain in the Czech Republic has split with the mortgage agency Gepard Finance after years of cooperation. The daily E15 reports that Re/Max president David Krajný has set up his own company to offer real estate financing to consumers called RX Finance and is sharing ownership in it with Hypodům. “The volume of mortgages achieved through the network last year was around CZK 9bn,” said Krajný. “Gepard Finance was unable to use even 10 percent of the potential. When that began to have an impact on the quality of service we provide our clients, I said, we have to do something about it. Gepard Finance’s board vice chairman David Eim took exception to the Krajný’s comments. “Exclusive cooperation between Gepard Finance and Re/Max isn’t continuing because it basically never happened.”
