The real estate investment volume in Romania fell by 17 percent y-o-y in July, according to the National Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising Agency. The number of transactions reported in July totaled 44,430, down from 53,498 seen in the previous year. Most deals during July were signed in Bucharest, Ilfov and Timis, while Gorj, Caraş-Severin and Olt reported the fewest. Bucharest and Ilfov accounted for 19.8 percent of the total deals for the period.
