Geis Group opened a new 5,600 sqm logistics center in the Řehlovice industrial zone in the Ústí nad Labem region. JLL represented Geis on the deal, signed after 18 month of negotiations. Real Spektrum developed the built-to-suit project. The step was part of Geis expansion into northwest Bohemia. “With 255,000 sqm of class A industrial premises, the Ústí nad Labem region is the sixth biggest submarket in the Czech Republic. With the completion of the D8 motorway in the vicinity of Řehlovice and availability of skilled workforce in the region, we expect further development of the location. Even now, we have witnessed an increase in the demand from logistic and production companies,” says Anna Kubějová, a senior consultant in the industrial agency at JLL, who oversaw the property search and negotiations.
