The number of houses and apartments sold in Bucharest and Ilfov in the first 10 months of this year was 9.16 percent higher compared to the result of the first 10 months of the previous year, according to the real estate consulting company SVN.
Thus, more than 52,000 homes were sold in Bucharest and its surroundings in the first 10 months of this year, 9.16 percent more compared to the result from the same period last year, according to the data of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising. 2021 was also the best year in the recent history of the residential market in Romania, with a 37 percent increase in the number of homes sold in the Capital and its surroundings compared to 2020, which in turn ended with an increase of 5.3 percent compared to 2019.
At the same time, at the beginning of this year, over 27,000 new homes were under construction in Bucharest and the surrounding areas, according to SVN Romania data, which is the highest number in recent history.
