International Speedway Corp. has revealed that the developer Red Legacy has been named the new lead development partner for the One Daytona mixed use complex. Located across the street from the Daytona International Speedway, One Daytona includes 125,000 square feet of office space, 562,000 square feet of retail, two hotels totaling more than 380 rooms and 310 residential units. The investor’s decision means that Jacoby Development Inc., the former development partner, will take a backseat role in the process and has relinquished its full interest in the development to International Speedway Corp. One Daytona is a multiphase project whose $289 million first phase began last year. International Speedway Corp. has already gotten work underway on Daytona Rising, a $400 million renovation of the Daytona International Speedway that’s slated for completion in 2016.
