TUF RE will operate under the new name Refield and in a new organizational structure that will allow the company to increase the scale of its business, plans to acquire new partners and accelerate development activities, the company said. In line with the announcements of increasing the scale of business by 2025, the company plans to build facilities with a total retail space of nearly 100,000 sqm.
Currently, Refield is developing Pasaż Kępiński (12,000 sqm GLA) and a project in Grodzisk Wielkopolski (6,500 sqm GLA). The commercialization of the second stage of the retail park in Lidzbark Warmiński is also underway, which will be expanded by an additional 4,000 sqm GLA and drive-thru restaurant. In addition, the process of leasing the company’s largest project – Pasaż Ciechanowskiego (13,000 sqm GLA) with a DIY store with an area of 7,000 sqm GLA is underway. The company is also starting activities in Podkarpacie, where it will build two large retail parks with over 20,000 sqm GLA, the company announced.
“We have come to the point where we are simultaneously implementing several projects at various stages of advancement. The pace of our development required us to build an entity with much greater operational and financial potential than before. Refield is tailored to the requirements of our clients, the expanding list of projects and their pace. We are therefore replacing TUF RE with a new, much more efficient and agile structure, while maintaining the track record and all the projects we worked on under the old banner,” commented co-founder and president Fabian Eryk Barbarowicz..
“The introduced changes are not limited to the rebranding of the company, and their scope is quite significant. Until now, we have cooperated mainly with one financing investor, and now we are entering the market more widely to take advantage of the opportunities to cooperate also with other entities that contact us and are interested in the implementation of joint projects,” he added.
The company has also changed its visual identification, which will not only include the names of retail parks built by Refield to date and in the future. They will still be created as Pasaż with the addition of a place name, such as Pasaż Kępiński.
Refield is a development company in the retail park sector implemented in the build-rent-sell model. The first projects of the company were created in Chełmno, Lidzbark Warmiński and Golub-Dobrzyń. They have all been rented and sold. The company’s clients include active real estate funds, such as LCP Properties and Falcon Investment Management.
