“August was the sixth month in a row when the level of registered unemployment in Poland was decreasing. This is very good news,” commented the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

As previously reported by the Central Statistical Office (GUS), the unemployment rate registered at the end of July this year. amounted to 5.8%, i.e. decreased by 0.1 percentage point. compared to June this year, in July 2020 this rate was 6.1%.
The number of registered unemployed at the end of July 2021 amounted to 974.9 thousand. against 993.4 thous. a month earlier and compared to 1,029.5 thous. a year ago.
