The Related Group plans to build a low and mid-income housing project in the Miami district of Brickell. Located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and 10th Street, the new scheme will offer eight public housing units, 40 affordable-housing units (income under $23,500), and 229 market-rate units for those with income between $23,500 and $66,000. Related is looking to fund the project by selling 80/20 tax free bonds as well as seeking local affordable housing funding. Construction is expected to kick off in the third quarter of 2016.
