Before the coronavirus outbreak, only 10 percent of companies in Poland did not offer the possibility of remote work to their employees, according to a survey conducted by Walter Herz. The majority of those who responded said that remote work productivity did not drop at all or decreased only slightly. Moreover, according to one-third of respondents, work efficiency has even increased during the pandemic. The biggest challenges for people working from home turned out to be the ergonomics of the workplace and their physical environment, including work-life balance issues related to performing tasks at home, according to the survey.
