The Renault Group has decided to put on the market 27.5 percent of its office space rented for 10 years from Globalworth within the Renault Bucharest Connected complex, due to the 3,200 employees working mainly from home. The car manufacturer is offering a discount on the rent it pays to the landlord, in order to help it obtain a saving of about EUR 1.5 million per year.
Renault is willing to accept a rent that is 6 percent lower than its monthly costs. The French group currently pays an annual rent of EUR 5.7 million for the 42,300 sqm rented for 10 years.
