A total of 3,569 construction permits for residential buildings on the Romanian market were issued in July, down 10.1 percent y-o-y and 4.1 percent m-o-m, according to data published by the National Statistics Institute.
Decreases were reported in the following regions: Northeast, Southeast, Bucharest-Ilfov, South-Muntenia and South-West Oltenia. In the first seven months of the year, 22,016 permits for residential buildings were issued, down 1.1 percent y-o-y.
