Resi investment volume in Poland continues to grow

30 October 2018

Residential investments are on the rise, with big-ticket global deal volumes exceeding retail or industrial transactions last year, according to Savills. Global student housing investment volumes, for example, have risen 87 percent in the last five years. “The number of international students in Poland has surged five-fold over the last decade to 73,000 in the current academic year. Poland offers the sixth largest student population in Europe, strong economic fundamentals and more attractive yields than in Western Europe,” said Kamil Kowa, board member and head of corporate finance and valuation at Savills. “This all makes our country one of the future investment hotspots for many investors who have already established a presence in Western Europe and are looking for opportunities to grow in a stable environment.”
